What Piklo Booking does
Everything on this page exists today. Free unless a line says Pro. The question marks open a little more detail.
Booking
- Public booking pageYour own page, built for a phone, showing what you offer and when you are free.
?
The same page goes inside your own website as a small script, so a customer never has to leave it to book. - CalendarThe day in front of you, with everyone who works with you side by side.
?
Move an appointment by dragging it. The calendar checks it against your opening hours and the staff member's own before it lets go, so a drag cannot make a time nobody can take. - AppointmentsOne customer, one time. Booked by you or by them, moved or cancelled from either end.
- ClassesOne time with room for several people, and places that count down as they are taken.
- CoursesSeveral sessions, sold and signed up for as one thing.
- Waiting listFull? Customers join the list and hear the moment a place opens.Pro
?
First come, first served. The message carries a link straight to booking, and nothing is held for anybody. - Opening hoursWhen you are open, per location, with exceptions for the days you are not.
?
Your country's public holidays are already in it. Keep any of them open with one press.
Customers
- Customer listEveryone who has booked, with their history and your notes.
?
It is your list. No other business on Piklo can see it. - Customer portalYour customers see their bookings, receipts and points in one place.
?
They sign in with their email address. It shows them what they were already sent, and it gives no salon anything new. - Reminders by email and SMSFewer no-shows. Reminders go out by email, or by text message if you prefer.
?
Text messages are bought in advance, from €0.04 a message, and can top themselves up when the balance runs low. You choose per message type whether it goes by email, by text, or both, and you can write the wording yourself. - Confirmations and cancellationsSent in your name when a booking is made, and if it is called off.
?
Every message is logged with what happened to it. One that fails is something you can see, not something you find out about later. - MessagesMessages in the customer's own language. You write the greeting and the sign-off, we write the rest.
?
Every message has a standard wording that is already translated. What you add is your own greeting, a line of your own and your sign-off, and they go out exactly as you typed them. - Customer clubRegulars get a discount. You decide how much.Pro
?
A point for every unit of your own money a completed booking comes to. You set four levels and what each one takes off, and the discount comes off by itself while a customer is on that level. Customers join themselves when they book.
Payments
- Payments into your own accountYou connect your own payment account, and the money goes there.
?
Piklo never holds it. There is a fee on payments taken through Piklo on Free, and none on Pro. The pricing page has both numbers. - Payment linksAsk for the money with a link, or a code on the customer's phone.
?
At the counter, after the appointment, or from a distance. They pay with the card or wallet they already use. - DepositsAsk for a deposit up front. It comes off the bill.Pro
?
The customer pays it on a secure page when they book. It is recorded on the booking, and what is left is what you ask for afterwards. - No-show chargesKeep a card on file, and charge your no-show fee in one press.Pro
?
The amount is your own rule, and the customer is shown it before the card is kept. Nothing is charged automatically. Somebody at the salon presses the button. - Gift cards and multi-visit cardsA gift card carries a code: sell one at the counter, or let the customer buy one and send it herself.
?
The balance and the visits left are kept as entries rather than as a number that can be overwritten, so a card's history always reads and a receipt always adds up.
Staff and locations
- Staff and rolesEveryone who works with you signs in as themselves, and sees what their role allows.
- Staff availabilityThe hours each person works, and the days they are away.
?
A customer is only offered a time somebody can actually take. Your opening hours, the staff member's own hours and their absences are worked out together. - More staff and more locationsFree is one of each. Pro has no limit on either.Pro
- Staff profilesYour people, with a picture and a few words about them. The customer chooses who.
?
A picture and a short presentation per person, shown where the customer picks somebody. Leave them out and the name stands on its own, as it always did. - Several locationsMore than one place. One calendar — the customer chooses where.Pro
?
Every place has its own address, its own week and its own photograph, and each has a link of its own that skips the question.
