Booking software for tattoo artists.
A session can take the whole day, and a no-show costs you that day. Piklo books long sessions as one, takes a deposit before the time is held, and asks about the piece before the client walks in.
What it looks like
How a tattoo booking runs in Piklo
The idea arrives with the booking
Ask about the motif, the placement, the size and whether it is a cover-up on the last step of the booking, before you set aside the day.
A deposit before the day is held
On Pro the booking waits for the deposit. If it is not paid in time, the time is released for somebody else.
A long session is one booking
A service can run for as many hours as the piece needs. Add time after it to clean down before the next client.
What matters most in a tattoo studio
- DepositsPro
- A percentage of the price, paid when the client books. Leave it off the short consultations and keep it on the big pieces.
- Own questions
- Up to five questions: the motif, the placement, the size, a cover-up or not. Required ones have to be answered before the booking goes through.
- Payments
- Send a payment link for the rest from the booking, and it marks itself paid when the money arrives in your own account.
Free has no monthly fee. Pro is €10.00 a month, and adds deposits and no-show fees.
Free covers 1 staff member and 1 location, and Piklo takes 0.5% of payments made online through Piklo. Pro has no staff limit and no Piklo fee. Prices exclude VAT; text messages and the payment provider's own fees are separate.
Questions tattoo artists ask
- Can I take a deposit before I set aside a day?
Yes, on Pro. You set it as a percentage of the price. The booking is held while it waits for payment, and released if the client does not pay in time.
- Can a session last all day?
Yes. A service can be as long as you need; it only has to fit inside your working hours.
- Can clients book a consultation first?
Yes. Make the consultation its own short service without a deposit, and book the session after it.
- Can I see the idea before the session?
You see the client's answers to your questions on the booking. Piklo does not take pictures with a booking, so ask for a description, or for the client to bring their references.
- Where does the money go?
Straight to your own payment account; Piklo never holds it on the way. On Free, Piklo's fee is 0.5% of payments made online through Piklo, and on Pro there is none.
